The localisation mechanism combines two strategies to identify the precise position: outdoors, with direct visibility of the sky, the watch uses GPS for satellite triangulation, providing high accuracy. Indoors, it estimates location by triangulating nearby Wi-Fi signals. Generally, it will be able to locate the watch, except in extremely isolated areas, such as basements or places without Wi-Fi signals. It’s worth mentioning that it is always possible to request a precise location of the watch, a process that may take up to a minute, depending on the environmental conditions.
